Right now i am in Hue, Vietnam. The beer scene in Southeast Asia is funky and many times when i have been pouring beers here i have thought of you. Recently i tried a dark ginger stout beer here that hit the tongue with a malty metallic pickled ginger taste. Each country i have visited Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam have their own national beer. Here in Vietnam the national beer is Tiger, which is not bad but i opt for the cheaper beer, Larue which has a less detailed tiger on the label.
